Academic
- Introduced Value Added/Certifications Courses on latest technologies and managerial skills for students to increase employability and make them industry ready.
- As per National Education Policy(NEP)-2020, sessions were arranged for creating Academic Bank of Credit account for the students as well as staff.
- Students Training Programme (STP), a comprehensive module is designed to cater to the training and placement needs of management graduates.
- Attainment of Course Outcomes (COs) and Program Outcomes (POs) through curriculum and diverse activities was ensured by continuous monitoring and regulating teaching learning activities in accordance with rules and regulations set by Academic monitoring committee.
- Becoming NPTEL SPOC, SIBAR motivates students and faculties to register for at least one MOOC course complementing their teaching learning skills.
IPR Initiatives
- Established IPR Cell – SIBAR has established an ecosystem for innovations through IPR cell where faculties and students are encouraged to create an innovative culture which fosters the creation of IP and development of IPR useful for the community.
- IPR cell conducts activities to create awareness about the rights and responsibilities of the faculty, staff, and students to protect their IP’s generated through continuous knowledge upgradation and research work.
Teacher Training Program(TTP)
- TTP is one of the best practices emphasized by IQAC for the faculty growth and professional development by encouraging them to participate in AICTE approved FDPs, Refresher Courses, Workshops, Conferences, Seminars, Training Programs & Certifications.
- Through this initiative, many faculties have upgraded themselves – 2 Faculties have received NPTEL Domain Certification, 2 Faculties have received NPTEL Believer Certification & 1 has received NPTEL Enthusiast Certification, 3 Faculties have completed 15 Days UGC approved Refresher Course with “A” Grade, many faculties attended 1 weeks/2 weeks FDPs.
Research activities
- IQAC encourage the faculties and students to publish research papers in quality journals and conferences.
- Established Institute’s Innovation Cell (IIC) to foster the culture of Innovation among the students and work on startup projects.
- IQAC has organized workshops/seminars/guest sessions on Research Methodology, entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property Rights.
